Dom Legend Toruńskich

Dom Legend Toruńskich, znajdujący się w secesyjno-modernistycznej kamienicy zbudowanej około 1913 roku na miejscu dwóch gotycko-renesansowych domów, to wyjątkowe muzeum połączone z interaktywnym teatrem. Dawniej działał tu sklep firmy C.B. Dietrich & Sohn, oferujący artykuły metalowe, a od 1972 roku – dom towarowy „Flis”. Obecnie obiekt figuruje w gminnej ewidencji zabytków, a jego wnętrza kryją sześć interaktywnych instalacji w zabytkowej, gotyckiej piwnicy.

Dom Legend Toruńskich pozwala odwiedzającym przeżywać najciekawsze wątki toruńskich opowieści – niezależnie od wieku. W jednej z instalacji odtworzono domek na drzewie, upamiętniający miejsce założenia przez Krzyżaków warowni w 1231 roku. W innej można zobaczyć, jak toruńska mieszczka wylewa wodę na króla Jagiełłę. Są tu także flisacy, scena średniowiecznych tortur, budowana Krzywa Wieża i miniaturowa kopia dzwonu Tuba Dei. Każda ze scen tworzy żywe przedstawienie dawnych legend, angażując odwiedzających w historię i kulturę Torunia.
