Mała Zapora - Wiślańska Niagara Wisła

Mała Zapora, znana również jako Wiślańska Niagara, to pierwsza konstrukcja spiętrzająca wody Białej i Czarnej Wisełki, wybudowana w latach 50. XX wieku. Choć straciła część znaczenia po powstaniu większej zapory i Jeziora Czerniańskiego w latach 1968-73, nadal przyciąga uwagę swoim urokiem.

To niewielkie jeziorko i imponujący, około 8-metrowy wodospad sprawiają, że niektórzy mieszkańcy nazywają go mini Niagarą Wiślańską. Warto zwrócić uwagę na interesujące elementy konstrukcyjne, takie jak przepławki - sztuczne progi umożliwiające rybom pokonanie zapory i swobodne poruszanie się w górę rzeki.
