Muzeum Inżynierii i Techniki Kraków

Muzeum Inżynierii i Techniki w Krakowie, założone w 1998 roku, mieści się przy ul. św. Wawrzyńca 15 w budynku dawnej zajezdni pierwszego wąskotorowego tramwaju elektrycznego. To miejsce, gdzie zgromadzone są eksponaty związane z rozwojem komunikacji miejskiej, elektrowni, gazownictwa oraz historią techniki. Do 11 marca 2022 roku nosiło nazwę Muzeum Inżynierii Miejskiej. Posiada dwa oddziały: Ogród Doświadczeń im. Stanisława Lema oraz Hangar Czyżyny.

Muzeum to zbiór historycznych artefaktów techniki, który prezentuje rozwój polskiej myśli inżynieryjnej, wynalazczość oraz przemysł. Zgromadzone dokumenty, eksponaty i wystawy, takie jak "Drukarstwo krakowskie XV-XX wieku", "Tramwaje na Wawrzyńca" czy "Motokultura", ukazują nie tylko historię techniki, ale także życie miasta w kontekście jego infrastruktury i przemysłu.
