Muzeum Ziemi Zawkrzeńskiej w Mławie

Muzeum Ziemi Zawkrzeńskiej w Mławie to placówka muzealna z siedzibą w centrum miasta. Jego historia sięga 1929 roku, kiedy to powstało Miejskie Muzeum Regionalne, zlokalizowane w budynku przy ul. Ogrodowej. Muzeum zostało zniszczone podczas II wojny światowej, a jego zbiory wywiezione do Królewca. Nowa instytucja została utworzona w 1963 roku dzięki Towarzystwu Miłośników Ziemi Mławskiej, a dwa lata później muzeum zostało upaństwowione. W latach 1978–1980 obiekt przeszedł remont i rozbudowę.

W muzeum prezentowane są wystawy dotyczące archeologii, historii, sztuki, przyrody oraz pamiątki po Janie Pawle II. Zbiory obejmują m.in. zabytki kultury przeworskiej i wielbarskiej, pamiątki po powstaniu styczniowym, militaria oraz skamieliny i faunę współczesną.
