Pomnik Wieloryba w Stegnie upamiętnia wydarzenie z 22 sierpnia 2015 roku, kiedy kilkaset metrów od brzegu stegieńskiej plaży znaleziono martwego wieloryba. Ssak mierzył około 13-16 metrów, a jego ciało było w fazie wstępnego rozkładu, sugerując, że wieloryb zdryfował z otwartych wód morza.
